Synopsis
This is the story of my life, at least the high points. I find it necessary to give some of the history of the time, to give you a feel for how things were. I am starting with mother and her family, the Lesters, because they were a powerful influence on my mother, naturally, but also on my father. Before my folks were married, my father had become good friends with my grandfather, John Perry Lester, who was always called Perry.
